School Uniforms and More [Updated for 2020-21]
Regular School Uniforms and Accessories
LEEP Dual Language Academy has partnered with the Flynn O'Hara uniform company to provide comfortable, dignified, and long-lasting uniforms.
The uniforms carry our school logo in handsome red, navy blue, and grey colors.
Please plan for your child to wear the uniform three (3) days during a typical school week.
For girls, the uniform consists of a blue shirt (short-sleeve or long-sleeve); gray jumper, “skort,” or slacks (with elastic waist or belt
loops); and red sweater (pullover or cardigan).
For boys, the uniform consists of a blue shirt (short-sleeve or long-sleeve); gray slacks (with elastic waist or belt loops); and red
sweater (pullover or cardigan).
On Physical Education (PE) days, the uniform consists of a LEEP Academy T-shirt, sweatshirt, and sweatpants. Please note that this
is a change from 2019-20.
These uniform materials must be purchased from Flynn O'Hara. Click
here to shop for uniforms online.
Students should also wear black or navy blue socks or tights, a plain black or brown belt. These items do not need to be purchased from
Flynn O'Hara.
Shoes
On uniform days, students should wear shoes that are all black; have a rubber sole; and fasten without shoelaces. No sneakers on uniform
days, please. Please note this policy will be strictly enforced in 2020-21; it is critical for students' safety on staircases and
during activities, and for social distancing, that students are not sent to school with laced shoes.
On gym days, students should wear rubber-soled sneakers, also without shoelaces. There are no color restrictions. Light-up sneakers and
sneakers with wheels are not allowed.
Help and Financial Assistance
If you have any questions, or run into any difficulty with the purchase process, please contact Ms. Margarita Cheng at mcheng@leepschools.org
or call the school at 917-819-5337. If the cost of uniform represents a hardship for
your
family, please call the same number; assistance is available.
